Had an awesome time at the CBCA Illawarra Literary Lunch at the Fraternity Club in Wollongong yesterday. I was one of 12 authors invited to talk to about 100 primary school kids and their teacher librarians from Illawarra, Sutherland and Southern Highland schools. Sue Whiting was the keynote speaker, and the other authors (including myself) gave short presentations about our books and writing. I had the privilege of sitting with Year 5 & 6 students from Warrawong Public School and their Teacher Librarian, Louise, who were all delightful and enthusiastic. It was such a fun and joyful event. Well done CBCA Illawarra for organising everything!
