Luke and I kept busy during the lockdown by refining and recording some of the songs that we co-wrote for his new album, Little Worlds. The songs include: Summer Storm, Falling, Little Worlds, Killing Time, Listen, Gift of Life and Winds of Change, and can best be described as Country / Folk. Luke is on guitar, vocals, banjo and ukulele, with me on piano. After recording the songs on Cubasis 3, we sent the files to Phil Beazley, a sound engineer, for mixing and mastering.
Little Worlds will be released on Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and Youtube Music as well as on CD in January 2022. Luke will launch the album at his gig at the Welder’s Dog on Thursday 19 January 2.30 to 4.30pm during the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Here is a sneak peek of the cover:
