Tamworth Country Music Festival 2022 was a blast! So many amazing performers, so many venues to choose from. Luke (Johnson) was billed to play solo but talked me into joining him. We had five gigs over three days, with Luke singing and playing guitar, banjo and ukulele, and me on keyboard. We performed several songs from Luke’s Goodbye Frankie and Little Worlds albums (which we co-wrote) as well as some of our favourite country songs. The highlight was our two-hour gig at the Welder’s Dog, with special friends and family among a great audience.
We also loved performing our original songs at the Post Office Hotel, Oasis Hotel and Tamworth City Bowling Club. Many thanks to Tamworth Songwriters Association for organising these gigs.
