Two of a kind – short play about racial tensions and stereotyping

Nov 10, 2019

Chuffed to get such positive feedback from the Head of English at Grace Christian School in Bunbury about my short play, TWO OF A KIND, which was read and discussed recently in class by Year 10 students. They found TWO OF A KIND to be a ‘fantastic text’ to compare with other Australian texts that they studied this year.

TWO OF A KIND uses humour and drama to explore racial tensions and stereotypes in Australian society.

TWO OF A KIND was first performed at the Civic Theatre Playhouse in Newcastle in November 2010 as part of the Short & Sweet Newcastle Festival.

The script is available for free download from my website.

I welcome feedback from any schools or theatre companies who have read / performed any of my plays.
